An invitation to Support the Wooden Restoration of the Nagoya Castle Towers Project
In order to promote the understanding and the intrinsic value of Nagoya Castle as a special historic site, the authentic wooden reconstruction of the Nagoya Castle Towers is proposed, based on the remaining wealth of materials, including, Nagoya Castle's old records, the Kinjo Onkoro, also Showa period architectural survey and measurement drawings, and numerous glass dry plate photographs.



The Kinjo Onkoroku, 64 Volumes.
An encyclopedia of Nagoya Castle records and specifics researched and compiled by the Owari domain samurai between 1821 and 1902.

In return for donations
- Names of those donating 2,000 Yen or more will be posted on the Nagoya Castle official website.
- Names of those donating 50,000 Yen or more will be displayed in the restored wooden Nagoya Castle towers.
