The proud symbol of Nagoya, and a nationally designated special historic site,
Nagoya Castle opens its gates to reveal the Ni-no-maru Garden--a celebrated cultural treasure that at night, rises gently from the silence.
Bathed in light and shadow, the garden reveals a face unseen by day, enveloping each visitor in a quiet and dreamlike embrace.
In harmony with this vision, TaikuhJikang brings forth a sound installation--music resonating as if in response to the garden's glow, inviting you into a rare nocturnal experience of nature, art, and imagination.

［MESSAGE］ 青々と広がる樹冠の傘、鯉や水辺の植物が生きた池の水深、何代もの藩主を楽しませた滝組の雄大さ、闇夜に浮かぶ築山の影。人の手により造られ守られてきた二の丸庭園を、ライトアップにて浮かび上がらせたいと思います。今回だけの特別な夜の庭園を楽しんでもらえたら幸いです。
The lush green canopy of the trees, the deep waters of the carp and aquatic plant filled pond, the majesty of the waterfall that entertained generations of feudal lords, under the shadow of the artificial hill rising into the dark night. The Ni-no-maru Garden, crafted and protected by human hands will be illuminated, creating a unique limited evening garden experience.

庭師、空間装飾、造景作家 kenjolandscape 主宰 / 造景集団「某」主宰
庭師としての経験を基盤に、造景と空間装飾の領域で独自の表現を切り拓く造景作家。自然素材と幾何学的モチーフを融合させ、光や影、風や時間の移ろいまでも取り込みながら、未だ誰も見たことのない「景色」を創り出す。その作品は単なるオブジェではなく、人々がその場で体感し、心に深く刻む「場」として存在する。kenjolandscapeとしては舞台や野外フェスのステージ装飾、パブリックスペースやイベント会場での空間装飾を手がけ、造景集団「某」としては橋の下世界音楽祭の草原ステージ制作など、多岐にわたる活動を展開している。

［MESSAGE］ 鳥たちのさえずりを真似るもみじ。朗々と歌い上げる岩。物思いに耽る山。今回のサウンドインスタレーションでは、庭園の木々や石たちが、私たちに語りかけてくるとしたら、それはどんなだろうか？ と想像しながら「滞空時間TaikuhJikang」の楽曲をリミックスしました。音と光の魔法により、うごめき出した庭の住人たちの囁きをごゆっくりお楽しみいただければ幸いです。
Maple trees mimicking birdsong. Rocks singing out in full voice. Mountains lost in deep thought. For this sound installation, we remixed the music of TaikuhJikang while imagining: What if the trees and stones of the garden spoke to us? Through the magic of sound and light, we hope you enjoy the whispers of the garden's inhabitants.

さとうじゅんこ（Voice） / 稀代の影絵師/音楽家・川村亘平斎が、南洋の呪術的音楽「ガムラン」を 現代的な文脈で捉え直し、新たな音楽の地平を切り開く唯一無二の楽団。「架空の島の民謡」をコンセプトに、ガムランやスティールパンが響き合うエキゾチックなサウンドと、現代的な影絵が融合したパフォーマンスは、日本のみならず世界中から熱い支持を受けている。

This unique orchestra, led by the extraordinary talents of shadow puppeteer / musician Koheysai Kawamura, accompanied by violinist GO ARAI, steelpan and vocalist Tonchii and the voice of Junko Sato reinterprets the mystical music of the South Seas' gamelan within a contemporary context to pioneer new musical horizons. Based on the concept of "folk songs from an imaginary island," their performance combines the exotic sounds of gamelan and steelpan with modern shadow puppetry, garnering enthusiastic support not only in Japan but worldwide.

~私の名前を呼んだのは森一番の魔法使い~」
全国各地でフィールドワークを行い、土地の記憶を手がかりに影絵芝居を作り続ける川村亘平斎が、干支をテーマに毎年発表される新作影絵芝居を上演。本年は「巳」をテーマに、魔法使いの蛇と少女の冒険譚が繰り広げられます。
［あらすじ］ 封印されていた「さみしさの魔人」が暴れ出し、世界の全てが忘れ去られようとしていた。森一番の魔法使い・ウランダは、魔人に追いかけられる少女と世界を救うため、幻の石を探しに根の国へと向かう。この宇宙に住む全ての命達の魔法と忘却の物語。

A performance of folk songs from the fictional Warake Island, created by Koheysai Kawamura. Along with the sounds of gamelan and steelpan, we will transport you to an island far away.
● Part 2 | Shadow Puppet Theater, "Urandaranda ~The Forest's Greatest Wizard Called My Name~"
Koheysai Kawamura, who conducts fieldwork across Japan and creates shadow puppet plays inspired by local memories, presents his annual new shadow puppet theater piece themed around the Chinese zodiac. This year's theme is the Snake, revealing an adventure tale of the Snake Wizard and a young girl.
SYNOPSIS | The sealed "Demon of Loneliness" has broken free, threatening to make the entire world fade into oblivion. Uranda, the forest's foremost wizard, sets out for the Land of Roots in search of the Phantom Stone to save a girl pursued by the demon and to save the world. This is a tale of magic and oblivion for all beings dwelling in this universe.
カメイナホコ｜
ピアノやシンセサイザー、クラリネット、ソプラノサックスなどを使って演奏する。3歳からピアノを学び、2002年からハルモニウムやバスクラリネットを用いた即興での演奏を始めた。音楽の枠組みにとらわれず、音がどのようにその場に在るかを常に模索しながら、国内外における活動を行っている。参加プロジェクトはウリチパン郡、三田村管打団、トンチトリオ、MOON FACE BOYS、グラタンカーニバル、カメアリエレクトリック、タートル山、作業場のおとあつめ、など。
Nahoko Kamei｜
Performs on piano, synthesizer, clarinet, soprano saxophone, and other instruments. She began studying piano at the age of 3 and began improvising on the harmonium and bass clarinet from 2002. Unconstrained by musical frameworks, she is constantly exploring how sound exists in a given space and is active in Japan and abroad. Her projects include URICHIPANGOON, Mitamurakandadan, Tonchii Trio, MOON FACE BOYS, Gratin Carnival, Kameari Electric, Turtle Yama, Sagyoba no Otoatsume and others.
